PeopleTeam
Dan Amelang is a graduate student at the University of California,
San Diego. His research interests include computer graphics, user
interfaces, programming languages and collaborative computing.
Dan received a BS in Computer Science from Brigham Young University
with a focus on Bioinformatics. He received an MS in Computer Science
from UCSD, for which he wrote a thesis documenting Jitblt, a run-time
code generator for digital compositing based on Ian Piumarta's COLA
system. He is currently a Ph.D. student at UCSD, advised by Jim
Hollan.
